Hit and Run

In this film, the final girl is being shown as a bad person from the beginning. She's at a party and she is drinking alcohol and drives home drunk, because of this you instantly think something bad is going to happen to her. Conventionally if a person in a teen horror drinks alcohol, has sex or does drug etc, then something is going to happen to them. When she drives home you think something will, due to:
  1. Her boyfriend seems a bit dodgy as she leaves the party
  2. It's night in the middle of no where as she drives home (in a wooded, secluded area) - another convention in a horror
  3. She crashes and gets out of the car fine but you think someone will get her due to being in such a secluded area

  1. Label as research

Can you identify similar horror conventions in other films? This will back up your knowledge and show a wider reading of the subject.

    Who made it, year, stars/characters?
