The target audience for Cinema city is aimed at an older generation, it’s also built within a historic building which is more appealing to older people. It is small, they only have three screens but it is definitely more directed at middle and upper class people, and again appeals more to older people because the evening they have a 18+ night where they can take alcohol into the screening with them. Most adults would also be interested in the independent films what they show.
I think our film would be shown at Vue or Odeon, for the fact that is a conventional horror, it’s a teen movie and as I’ve said, Cinema City is mainly for an older audience. Teens, children and Adults go to Vue or Odeon

  1. Why do Cinema City usually show independent films? What other 'art' events/places do Norwich have which might influence their decisions to show more diverse films than mainstream Hollywood productions?
